Why I started this blog
Every journey begins with a story. Ours is no different. God is constantly molding us and shaping us through adversity. In our culture emotions and despair are often not welcomed. Pain and other types of bad news are rarely seen for what they are. Often, we want to tie everything is a nice shiny bow and not confront the deep rooted pain because it feels inconvenient or unwelcome. The purpose of this blog is to create a healthy space for vulnerability and welcome emotions as we learn how to endure hardships together as we wait on the Lord.
Lamentations 3:32 “Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.”
Habakkuk 2:1 “I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer my complaint.”
