Lamentations 3:32 “ Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.”
Habakkuk 2:1 “ I will take my stand at my watch post and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and answer I am to give to this complaint.”
The hardest afflictions are those where there is no escape and that is definitely a frustrating place to be.
Being sad is not being negative, is it actually a God given emotion and they are not meant to be stuffed and not dealt with. While reading the Psalms I have learned about a Lament prayer. A lament is talking to God about your pain, frustrations, sorrows, anger, and hardships with a purpose of helping RENEW our confidence in God. My prayer of lament seems to have no end.
